Description

This simple recipe includes agave sweetener, in addition to a pinch of warming ground cinnamon. If you don’t have any agave at home, trying making this recipe using pure maple syrup!

  1. In a medium skillet, combine the agave nectar, margarine, cinnamon, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the mixture turns an amber color and thickens. Add the vanilla and the pecans, stirring gently until the nuts are coated with the glaze.
  2. Quickly transfer the nuts to a nonstick baking sheet and spread in a single layer to cool completely before serving.

Note

Try this recipe with a variety of mixed nuts. You can store them in an airtight container for a few days!
