Description

These breadsticks are easy and fun to make at home!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let stand 3-5 minutes until the mixture is bubbly.

  2. Add gluten-free flour, salt, psyllium husk, and baking powder to a larger bowl and whisk until combined.

  3. Add yeast mixture to the flour along with olive oil, and vinegar. Mix together and turn out onto a floured bench. Knead for 5 minutes until soft and sticky. Add up to a half cup more flour to stop it from sticking.

  4. Roll out into thin logs and place on a lined baking trap. Cover with plastic wrap and set aside to rise in a warm place for 15 minutes.

  5. Preheat the oven to 350 ºF/175 ºC

  6. Once the breadsticks have risen to almost twice their original size, bake for 10-15 minutes, until a light golden color. Remove to a cooling rack.
