Crispy Cajun-Spiced Tofu with Scallions

In this recipe, extra-firm tofu is pressed and dried, cut into bite-sized cubes, seasoned with a Cajun spice blend, and pan-fried. Perfect for serving with your favorite vegetable stir-fry, with some fresh scallions added on top!

In a medium bowl, gently toss the diced tofu with the Cajun spice blend, gluten-free soy sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper, and mix until well-coated.

Heat the avocado oil over medium-high heat until it is nearly smoking, and carefully add the seasoned tofu, allowing the tofu to crisp-up until browned on all sides, turning the tofu pieces occasionally as they cook. Drain the crispy seasoned tofu on paper towels to remove the excess oil.

Serve with the chopped fresh green scallions, on top of your favorite vegetables or as a side dish.

I love tofu! Drying the tofu out a bit in the oven before cooking can make it even crispier!
