Dark chocolate and raspberries make a naturally irresistible pairing, bringing together deep cocoa richness and bright berry flavor in one elegant homemade treat.

While chocolate bars have ancient roots in Mesoamerican cacao traditions, the modern combination of dark chocolate and fruit has become a beloved classic.

This Dark Raspberry Chocolate Bar has a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture with a rich, slightly bittersweet cocoa base and a refreshing raspberry tang.

Cacao butter gives the chocolate its silky finish, while cacao powder adds deep chocolate flavor and natural antioxidants. Fine coconut sugar provides gentle sweetness, and a pinch of Himalayan salt enhances every note.

Freeze-dried raspberry powder delivers concentrated berry flavor and a beautiful fruity aroma, while fresh raspberries add little bursts of brightness. Coconut oil helps create a luscious texture.

Perfect for an afternoon treat, homemade dessert, or thoughtful edible gift, these bars are satisfying without feeling overly heavy.

Recipe Notes

Texture & Technical Notes:

  • The raspberry powder creates a strong contrast with the dark cacao, adding acidity and a concentrated berry flavor.
  • Add the raspberry powder gradually, as it absorbs fat and thickens the chocolate quickly.
  • Because coconut oil is added to the chocolate, the finished bar will be softer and faster-melting than your Base Dark Chocolate. Refrigerated storage is therefore recommended.
  • Very fine coconut sugar gives a smoother texture. Coarse coconut sugar may create a slightly grainy finish.
  • Do not use fresh or frozen raspberries inside this formula, as their water content can interfere with the chocolate.
Dark Raspberry Chocolate - Storage

Storage:

  • Store the dark raspberry chocolate in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2–3 weeks.
  • Let it sit at room temperature for approximately 5 minutes before serving.
  • Keep away from moisture, direct sunlight, and heat.
