Preheat the oven to 175ºC/350ºF.

In a mixing bowl, combine coconut oil, yogurt, water, apple sauce, vanilla extract, vinegar, and sugar.

Add gluten-free flour, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir well with a wooden spoon to combine.

Pour the batter into greased doughnut pans, filling each well 3/4 of the way full.

Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before turning it over and tapping it on the table or counter to release the doughnuts. Place on a cooling rack.

Serve warm with maple syrup
