Description

Try folding some spicy Jalapenos and Cheddar cheese into the dough!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. After you mix the sourdough, lightly dust your countertop with brown rice flour.

  2. Use a dough scraper to carefully remove the dough from the bowl and place it on the floured surface.

  3. With wet hands, pat the dough out into a rectangle and arrange the cheddar cheese or gouda and jalapenos on top of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border.

  4. Gently press the cheese and jalapenos into the sourdough, then gently pull the sides of the dough into the center to create a ball.

  5. Carefully place the ball of dough in a banneton dusted with brown rice flour, smooth side down. Next, cover it with a damp tea towel and let it proof.

Love this ideas. You can add a million items to loaves, I’d imagine! I’ve made some loaves with cranberries and pecans that have come out fantastic!
