Description

You can use kefir cultures to make a perfect sour cream substitute by culturing heavy cream instead of milk!

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix the heavy cream with the milk kefir in a jar and cover it.
  2. Put it away to ferment overnight at room temperature.
  3. Taste the kefir sour cream in the morning (or after a minimum of 8 hours) to determine if you’re happy with the taste. If you want it to be sourer, leave it out to ferment for a few more hours.
  4. Once you’re happy with the taste and texture, store it in the fridge.
