Spread the walnuts on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through, until aromatic. After ten minutes, remove from the oven and set aside to cool.

Pulse the walnuts a few times in a food processor. Add the maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt, and blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Remember to scrape down the machine's sides with a rubber spatula to ensure everything is mixed well.
