They are sweet, gooey, creamy and chocolaty.  They take only 5 minutes to make.  Great for a quick and easy snack or dessert.  Store them in the fridge for an extra fudgy treat! You can add whatever nuts you like, or omit the nuts entirely.

Instructions

First, carefully slice the dates in half. Remove the pit if not already pitted.

Use a spoon to add peanut butter to each date.

Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips and coconut flakes and (optional) chopped pistachios.

Serve immediately, or place in the fridge to harden up slightly.

Recipe Notes

Feel free to use another nut butter.  Almond butter, cashew butter, or walnut butter all work well.
