Description

This probiotic beverage is a good source of electrolytes, and can be made in very little time! 

Prep time: 15 min 

Total time: 45 min 

Yield: 4 servings 

Special equipment: A large saucepan; a fine mesh strainer; glass bottle with lid for storage.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Fill a saucepan with water and the freshly chopped ginger.
  1. Let the mixture boil for about 2 minutes, then turn off the heat and let the ginger steep for 30 minutes.
  1. Transfer the contents to a pitcher or glass bottle, and add the maple syrup, apple cider vinegar and fresh lemon juice.

  1. Top with the strained ginger water and stir.

  1. It’s ready to serve! You can drink this at room temperature or iced.
