Description

Try making these tortillas at home today--it's easier than you think.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and blend until a smooth batter comes together.

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat.

  3. Before placing the first scoop of batter into the pan, turn the heat down to medium. Using a half-cup measurement, scoop the mixture and pour it into the center of the skillet. Lift the skillet and rotate your wrist using a circular action. This will help to create a larger tortilla.

  4. Cook each tortilla for about 1 to 2 minutes on one side, until the edges start to lift slightly and the bottom is lightly golden brown in color. Then, flip it and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes on the other side.

  5. Repeat the process with the remainder of the batter.

Note

To create a smooth texture for your tortillas, use a food processor to blend together your tortilla batter, but you can also whisk together the ingredients in a bowl if you do not have one.

I’m always impressed by recipes that include fewer than five ingredients, including water! I’d love to try making these at home.
