Rinse and drain one can of cooked chickpeas, and add the rinsed and drained chickpeas to a medium-sized mixing bowl.

Add some Kosher salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, dried oregano, and cayenne pepper, along with the zest and juice of half of one lime.

Mix in the minced jalapenos and finely-diced red onion.

Fold in the fresh herbs, add a drizzle of olive oil, and mix well until everything is evenly distributed.

Taste, and add more salt, dried spices, fresh herbs, or lime juice, if desired.
